G4:2 School of Ministry
The G4:2 School of Ministry is a program that is specifically designed to be more than just a Bible school. This program at its core is more than an environment where information and curriculum is transmitted – it is an atmosphere that has an effect on the spirit, soul, and body of everyone who participates.
There are three main elements of emphasis used to build the lives of each student on a strong foundation that actually prepares them for success in real-world ministry:
DEVELOPING INTIMACY WITH GOD – To be successful in Christian ministry, you have to first be a successful Christian. The essence of Christianity is an intimate relationship with God. In roles as ministers, you must be able to do more than “know about God”, you must “know God”.
MINISTRY ACADEMICS – All classroom instruction falls into one of four categories that maintains a simple focus and helps provide a stable foundation for both life and family. Ministry Academics is broken down into four main “pillars of instruction”:
1) Foundational Principles (The Basics of Faith)
2) Bible Survey (History, Survey, and Interpretation)
3) Leadership Development (Ministerial Growth)
4) Personal Development (Individual Growth)
MINISTRY APPLICATION – This portion of training focuses on “hands-on” approach in a particular area of ministry. This is considered the “internship” element of G4:2 where students are taught to do the work and carry the weight of ministry. Our pastoral and support staff assumes the responsibility of enabling the students to build and facilitate that area of ministry on a local Celebration campus.
